Specify your keywords and audience. Your blog content will not perform better if you do not write it for the right people and optimize it with targeted keywords. First, determines your audience segments, what kind of information they need and why they need that, which key-phrases or keywords they use to find their necessary information.

  • Identify your audience. Of course, the audience varies with the niche. Try to figure out their needs. It will be easier to write if you know your audience's expectations or needs.

  • Find your topic based on your targeted keywords you researched. Start writing for your audience’s needs.

Easy Content Research Tips

Research is very important and useful to write content. Research lets you understand what type of content you should write, content length and so many things. Research involves determining:

  • What type of content are currently working better on search engine. To find that, just simply place your focus or targeted keyword in the search bar and find out what kind of article Google gives priorities for such queries.

  • Now, go to the site and find the average ideal length of each article. That will help you to determine the word limit. While you do that, check out the structure of the article too. It will help you to make your own article structure.

  • Check out the People also ask section. Pick the questions that relate to your article and answer them in your content. This way, answer the question as much as you can. This is one smart way to ensure your SEO optimized content answers queries that people are looking for.

3. Make Eye Catchy Headlines

The content headline is important to make a big impression. Make an eye-catchy and interesting headline using some rich keywords. Post title and Meta title are important factors in SEO content strategy. A post title is how your reader sees the title of the post on your website and a Meta title is how search engines show your post in search results.

Your post title and Meta description will show up in the search results. So, in addition to a great headline, also make sure your Meta descriptions are interesting and further elaborate on the topic of your article. I suggest you to specify and attractive Meta title in SEO settings with your targeted keyword. If you do not specify the Meta title, your post title will be treated as the Meta title. I recommend to keep your post titles less than 66 characters.

4. Post Meta Description

Meta descriptions are very important and that plays a major role in search engine ranking. Adding Meta descriptions into each post ensures to drive the highest amount of traffic to your website. So, you should add Meta description in all your content. Meta description works better if it’s added using 156 characters including your main keyword in it to make it's intent-driven.

Using keywords in image anchor text brings positive results. So, I suggest you to add at least use keywords in your image alt text.

6. Internal link and Anchor Text

Interlinking your article with (or among) other contents helps to keep your reader stick around your site for a longer time. Besides, link back to the older post also enables search engines to re-crawl those old posts. This is very helpful to reduce the bounce rate of your website. Which is another important SEO factor. Use anchor text technique to inner link your articles. Make sure to fill out the post title with the main keywords for the post that you are linking to.

Search Engine ignored words like “a” “an” “the”. So, remove stop words from permalink. Another good practice is to use only the focus keyword in the permalink. Make the permalink short. Never change your post permalink once the post is published.

Example: Suppose, this is our permalink.

My suggestion is to skip all words except the main keyword. So make it
